This portion of the program has redefined my perspectives of self‐awareness and awakened once more my
critical thinking to analyze professional challenges. This program is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Session 2
During phase two of the NHCC program I was able to identify areas that I will take advantage on leading
high performance teams. Topics were very relevant to my day to day responsibilities and consider them as
a great deal of knowledge. Even though topics were discussed in general manner information provided was
an eye opener for me. Critical thinking and self‐awareness continue to be key components on fully taking
advantage of the program.
As I was participating of the program, during the second phase, the area I’m responsible for within the
company was going through a transition stage. The learning’s acquired was something I brought back and
was able to apply immediately to make a difference in the team I manage. Although time will show if
positive changes were accomplished, I am confident myself awareness in the approach of leading the team,
due to the learning’s in the Program, will be quite noticeable.
So far the program exceeds my expectations and hopes it continues on for future Latinos.
